What is it all about?
It is about stories. Stories about people.
Stories that started from just a trifle. A worn down inscription on the
tomb plate, golden locket with flowery monogram or strange name of a
British mariner.
Some of personalities were well-known during their life-time, but
passing time worn down any remembrance of them. Another lived so covert
a
life, that after many years the veil of mystery lifts only
slightly.

The prototype of this site was first published
almost 2 years ago as
Forget-me-Not. But after one year server crashed, no back-up copy
remained, so, besides investigating new stories, spent this year on
recovering what was done before.

The story
about Zinaida Jurjevskaja called Russische Nachtigall (Russian
Nightingale) finally appeared, but only in Russian now. English
version to come...
